Went to Copenhagen Zoo today and took 350 photos. Had a lot to look through.

The elephants are using their new exhibition and seems to enjoy it! A really beautiful part of the zoo.

This has a beautiful frame - well done for capturing this gorgeous animal in such a different and creative way. I love the close up, how the wrinkles and lines of the elephants skin are captured and shadowed fantastically by the black and white tones and lighting. The background also, the tiny slither, is nice and smooth and this serves to bring out the crisp feel of the elephant somewhat more. I want to see more- that's my only suggestion! More of the animal with the same tone and lighting work on it to bring out the lines and leathery feel . Great work!

Oh nice textures and color tint. I really like how you captured and highlighted this guys eye.
Very nicely captured and very nicely portrayed in black and white. This photo would not be half as good in color, so I am very glad you chose black and white.
The close up of on the eye is very nice.
The soft tones are captured very nicely here and the low contrast between shade and light must have been difficult to shoot.
All in all I really like this portrait of a large mammal that has roamed this planet since before our ancestors. :D

I like how the elephant here seems deep in thought. We know as humans that animals don't have the ability to reason in their minds but, instead just the notion react to their enviornment. I think this picture challenges that idea making it appear that we are having a serious moment with this elephant. Nice composition by the way!:eyepopping: I think you did a really nice job of focusing on what you felt was most important.:happybounce: If you would have had the elephant for instance in the center of this picture it would have lost the effect completely. Keep up the good work!:juggle:
